Empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals
"Take some time to learn first aid and CPR. It saves lives, and it works"
CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is a life-saving emergency procedure performed when someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped, such as after a heart attack, drowning, or cardiac arrest.
FDI offers a variety of medical life-saving skills through its workshop such as CPR, choking management and other things that will be presented through its workshops with certified trainers and trusted organizations.
FDI presents these life-saving skills through workshops hosted at different venues based on suitability. The first workshop of FDI will be held at V Business Abdoun in late november with JPS, Jordan Paramedic Society, as a partner, with certified AHA training.
The primary medical care and immediate assistance given to someone who gets suddenly injured or falls ill before professional emergency services can take over. The main goals are to save the person's life, stop their condition from getting worse, and help them start recovering. It includes simple but vital actions that anyone can learn, such as recognizing when an environment is unsafe, checking if a person is breathing, or stopping severe bleeding with a bandage. You do not need any special medical tools or previous medical knowledge to perform basic first aid because it uses everyday items and straightforward techniques, like chest compressions for a stopped heart or the Heimlich maneuver for someone choking on food. By taking quick and calm action during those crucial first few minutes of a medical crisis, an ordinary bystander can keep a person stable and safe until an ambulance or doctor arrives at the scene.
The upcoming FDI BFA workshops will be hosted at VBC Abdoun in late November, taking place within our modern, dedicated training rooms. These professionally designed spaces feature flexible seating layouts, ensuring optimal visibility and interactive engagement for all participants during the training sessions. Equipped with ergonomic furniture, high-definition presentation screens, and integrated whiteboard setups, these rooms provide an exceptional environment for focused, hands-on learning. Attendees will benefit from a premium corporate setting and standard amenities that support an immersive, productive experience from start to finish. Secure your spot early, as the registration deadline is September 25th.
The full workshop schedule and session breakdown will be released soon.
We are happy to announce that FDI’s first workshop will be completely free for participants. This has come with the objective of presenting free, valuable medical knowledge to the Jordanian community, as we believe that medical knowledge must be accessible and known to everyone.
